Sponsored by the Dean of the College of Education for Women Asst.Prof.Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed AL-Shatri, The Department of English, in cooperation with The Lifelong Learning Unit, held a training workshop titled “How to check Scopus journals” “Scopus Journals: How to Find and Verify Indexing” On Monday, 8/1/2024 at eleven o’clock in the morning. The workshop aimed to highlight on how to check the classification of journals in the Scopus database, knowing the advantages of unclassified journals and how researchers can verify their presence or absence in Scopus containers and how to access the Scopus website and how to search it, with a focus on the risks of publishing in unreliable and unclassified journals.
